In April–May 2025, the “Erlik” Museum in Shymkent organized a 10-day cycle of patriotic events marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II.
The program included meetings with veterans, traveling exhibitions, roundtable discussions with youth, joint events with military units, and memorial ceremonies honoring the heroes who sacrificed their lives for their homeland.
The events brought together Karabakh war veterans, WWII veterans and their descendants, law enforcement officers, youth organizations, university students, and city residents.
Under the slogan “Eternal heroism lives on in the memory of generations”, the initiative fostered patriotism and strengthened national pride among the younger generation.
