The State Communal state-owned Enterprise "Association of Museums of the City of Shymkent" – by decree of the Akim of Shymkent No. 4106 dated August 02, 2024, was established as the state communal state-owned enterprise "Association of Museums of the City of Shymkent" of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives of the city of Shymkent (hereinafter referred to as the Department).
The purpose of the association is to preserve the cultural, historical and scientific values of our country, collect and disseminate information through museum exhibits and historical monuments, educate the younger generation about the legacy left by our ancestors, also explores the material monuments and spiritual culture of our people, presents them through exhibitions, carries out research, collection, exposition, archaeological, ethnographic, methodological, scientific, educational, and sightseeing services.
