Following the International Training Seminar “Digitalization and Development of Museums of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” held at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan from June 22 to 26, 2026, representatives of the Shymkent City Museum Association—Senior Researcher M. Zhandarbek and Excursion Organizer E. Asker from the Department of Scientific, Methodological, Exhibition and Exposition Support—conducted an internal seminar for the museum staff.

During the seminar, they presented the key topics covered throughout the international training program and shared the knowledge and professional experience they had gained in the field of museum digitalization and development.

The presentation focused on the digitization of museum collections, the modernization of museum exhibitions through contemporary technologies, improving visitor services, and the implementation of international best practices in museum operations.

The participants were also introduced to the experience of museums in Türkiye and innovative approaches to effectively integrating digital technologies into museum activities. The seminar provided an opportunity for professional discussion, exchange of ideas, and the development of proposals aimed at further improving museum practices.

Such knowledge-sharing seminars play an important role in strengthening the professional competencies of museum specialists, advancing the digital transformation of museums, and promoting the adoption of international best practices in Kazakhstan’s museum sector.
