Today, the Shymkent City Museum Association and the Turkistan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening collaboration in the development of museum activities, the preservation, research, and promotion of historical and cultural heritage, and reached an agreement to implement joint scientific, cultural, and educational initiatives.
Under the memorandum, the two institutions will cooperate over the next three years by organizing joint exhibitions, implementing research projects, enhancing the preservation and digitization of museum collections, exchanging professional experience, developing cultural and educational programs, and improving the professional qualifications of museum specialists.
The signing of the memorandum marks an important step toward strengthening institutional partnership, advancing museum cooperation, preserving historical and cultural heritage, and promoting the rich cultural legacy of southern Kazakhstan to a wider audience.
