The Director of the Shymkent City Museum Association, Zh. Kurban, along with department heads, undertook an official business trip to Astana, where they participated in the IV International Museum Congress of Kazakhstan and the museology forum “Kazakhstan - France 2026,” organized by the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within the international event themed “Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage: Innovations and Digital Transformation,” key issues related to the development of museum work, preservation of cultural heritage, effective use of digital technologies, and strengthening international cooperation were discussed.
As part of the program, meaningful presentations were delivered on the development of cultural diplomacy, the formation of modern museum spaces, the improvement of research activities, and the implementation of innovative projects in the museum sector.
At the conclusion of the event, participants were awarded special certificates and provided with opportunities for professional experience exchange.
