On August 10, the Hakim Abai Museum hosted an Open Day titled «The World of Abai» to mark the birthday of Abai Kunanbaiuly, the great Kazakh poet, thinker, and educator.
The main purpose of the event was to promote Abai Kunanbaiuly’s life and creative legacy, introduce the younger generation to his spiritual and philosophical ideas, promote national values, and highlight the rich heritage of the great thinker.
Special guests and delegation members were given a guided tour of the Hakim Abai Museum’s exhibitions. During the tour, visitors learned about Abai’s life and creative journey, literary heritage, Words of Edification, translations, musical works, and his significant contribution to Kazakh literature and spiritual culture.
Visitors also explored historical artifacts and valuable materials related to the life and works of the great poet.
The event highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting Abai’s spiritual legacy, sharing his works with a wider audience, and passing his humanistic and educational ideas on to the younger generation.
